Land Stories Initiative

A dedicated space to mull over the many lives of land— looking beyond its shape and form as territory, property, or terrain, and instead understanding it as lived experience, memory, struggle, and imagination. This space centers land at the heart of conversations and brings to the fore the many tangible and intangible ways in which people and non-humans interact with, relate to, care for, and make sense of land.
Whether it’s a tale of soil and seed, a land record with a hidden history, or a field transformed by extractive ambition, Land Stories offers a space to think and feel land otherwise.
